Music is about balance and especially for elementary students, it would be very important to ensure there’s enough teachable items in the music within the zone of proximal development, laid out by Vygotsky. In this inquiry post, instead of me writing too much about the progress, I will attach a video of the first draft that I completed from the beginning to the end with all lyrics attached. Some additional things to note are that lyrics changed a bit from the previous post in order to work with the music notes and syllables and vice versa. I also added Korean words underneath where I see fit, which will also provide option for students to learn the Korean and sing in Korean as well in context of the English translation lyrics above. In the next post, I will share some feedbacks I get from my teacher colleagues about this draft. Enjoy!
